Article: On The Town 

On September 7, The Betty Ferguson Foundation held its annual Heart of Mes Amies summer luncheon at the home of Judy Cox. This year’s guest speaker was Marlee Lauffer, vice president of marketing and communications for Newhall Land. Marlee spoke of her personal experiences both as a daughter and as a working mother.

2. (Left to Right) – Event Coordinator Lynda Elmes and Karen Hall, a member of the women’s leadership team.
3. (Left to Right) – Tanya Gray, Judy Cox, Cindy De Herrera and Marjanne Priest. Tanya and Cindy obtained raffle items for the luncheon. Judy Cox and Marjanne Priest are founders of The Betty Ferguson Foundation.
4. (Left to Right) – Youth-with-a-Voice leaders Lisa Thomas, Tori Raymond, Amanda Hardy and Marlise Soto. Amanda gave a testimonial at the luncheon, talking about how the programs at The Betty Ferguson Foundation have impacted her life. All four girls were facilitators at the You’ve Got the Power workshop on September 21.
